To celebrate Carl Cox’s 30th Mixmag anniversary, we created Coors x Mixmag merch that doubled as a beer token. Inspired by Coors’ thermochromic cans, the t-shirts appeared blank at first, then revealed vibrant ’90s-inspired rave graphics when exposed to heat.
As the club filled and the dancefloor warmed up, the designs came to life. More than just a gimmick, each graphic functioned as a valid beer token, turning the merch into an interactive part of the night. Featuring Carl Cox’s 1992 Mixmag Live tracklist, the piece wasn’t just a giveaway, but a keepsake for true ravers.
